Meet Mrs. Broome

Educational Philosophy 

​I believe every child will succeed in Room 20. I strive to create a classroom where students feel loved, supported, and intrinsically motivated to reach their highest potential. I hope to foster a love of learning, acceptance of others, service, problem solving, critical thinking, community and responsibility. I encourage students to take risks, make mistakes and build their growth mindset. I promise to do my best to engage students and provide differentiated instruction for all types of learners. I believe that kids come to school to become kind, respectful and responsible citizens and future leaders.

About Me

I graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor's degree in Education in 2021. I currently hold Science and Math specialty Teaching Endorsements from Southern Utah University. Teaching is my passion! I find fulfillment in helping young minds grow in different capacities. ​Before I entered the profession, I taught ski school for 4 years and lived in Zhongshan, China while teaching Kindergarten. I cherish the relationships that teaching has brought me. I learn so much from my students every year.

When I'm not teaching, you can find me frolicking in the mountains, doing yoga, reading, baking and occasionally crafting. I love traveling and spending time with my husband, Josh. We love to ski, hike, bike, and explore together.
